Honoring Graduates in Kinonjeoshtegon First Nation

June 26 Lawrence Sinclair Memorial School celebrated the graduation of 9 Kindergarten graduates, 5 grade 8 graduates and honored 2 off-reserve high school graduates and 3 post-secondary graduates. The school gym was decorated beautifully to honor graduates and families in attendance.

As Lawrence Sinclair School has completed its first year with MFNSS, Principal Adeline Travers remarked on the positive experiences with resources available to the students and the positive experiences with MFNSS and MFNERC facilitators, noting resources that students like Neveah McKay may access, such as physiotherapy and more inclusive education services.

Principal Adeline looks forward to continued work with MFNSS and MFNERC.
