Registration must be completed by June 5, 2026, for the 1st Annual MFNERC/MFNSS Lacrosse tournament taking place on June 11, 2026, at:

Soccer and Baseball Complex

3412 Raleigh Street

R2E 1B9

With plan B, in case it rains, the tournament will be moved indoors at:

Skylight Soccer Complex

140 Haarsma St,

Winnipeg, Mb, R2E 0M8

The tournament is co-ed and open to grades 5 – 9.

Completed and submitted registration forms are a requirement to attend the tournament. The Principal will need to verify and sign off the form to ensure that the participants are in fact grades 5 – 9. We must use the honour system and trust schools will abide by the rules so that the tournament is fair and fun for all.

Equipment

MFNERC/MFNSS will provide the lacrosse sticks, lacrosse balls, nets and goalie gear for the one-day tournament.

Schools must provide their own helmets, gloves and outdoor clothes.

Rules

Since this is the first year we are hosting the lacrosse tournament. We will be implementing ‘hybrid rules’. Meaning it will be a combination of Field lacrosse and Box Lacrosse rules.

There will be a total of seven participants on the field. Six players and goalie.
