Obushkudayang Celebrates over 2 Dozen Graduates

Staff honor the adult ed valedictorian with a star blanket

 Lake St Martin School, also known as Obushkudayang School, welcomed 12 kindergarten graduates, 3 high school graduates and 12 adult education graduates and 1 honorary graduate to the stage for celebration. The school celebrated the youngest grads on June 18 and on June 19, the High School and Adult Education graduates. The ceremonies were attended by friends, family, and community members, including the chief and council from Lake St Martin and Dauphin River First Nations, and AFN National Grand Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak who delivered the keynote speech.  

MFNSS congratulates the many graduates from Lake St Martin and commends the large adult education graduation class for their dedication to completing their education.
