Obushkudayang Takes Gold in MFNSS Basketball
This April 7 MFNSS basketball teams gathered in the Pinaymootang School gym to test their mettle against the other competing teams in a two-day tournament for the 7th Annual MFNSS Basketball Tournament. Games were suspenseful and fun, with each team working hard to score on their opponent. To end the exciting two-day tournament, Lake Manitoba School earned 3rd place, Pinaymootang School 2nd place, and Obushkudayang Anishinaabe School earned 1st.
MFNSS would like to thank Pinaymootang School for hosting the event, and give thanks to participating schools, Chan Kagha Otina Dakota Wayawa Tipi School, Ginew School, Keeseekoowenin School, Lake Manitoba School, Miskooseepi School, Pinaymootang School and Obushkudayang Anishinaabe School for playing with solid teamwork, and sportsmanship.
